Our story

Brick & Beam is a small building contractor delivering residential extensions, conversions and whole-home renovations. One project lead coordinates the programme, trades and decisions, with written cost updates and a tidy, safe site. We work with your architect or can introduce the specialists needed to get a clear scope in place.

Can you work from our architect's drawings?
Yes. We regularly price and build from an architect's approved drawing and specification package.
Do you handle building control?
We coordinate inspections and provide the information needed, while the statutory appointment remains with the homeowner.
How are changes handled during the build?
Any variation is described and priced in writing for approval before the changed work proceeds.
Can we stay in the house?
Often, yes. We discuss safe access, dust separation and service interruptions before agreeing the programme.
